Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as you're newly elected Secretary of Greenock and District Angling Club. This year several new appointments have been made to the committee
Eddie McCallam: President, Liam Anton: Treasurer, Stefan Flynn: Minutes Secretary, Robert Adams: General Committee, Ian Benson: General Committee, Alex Cameron: General Comittee, Kevin Rodgers: General Committee, Alastair Wright: General Committee.
During the coming weeks John Strange and I will be reviewing all members subscription status to verify our records and compile a comprehensive database of members, their status and contact details.
This year I would appreciate your co-operation to help reduce club expenditure with respect to correspondence. If you would like to contact me please email me. I would greatly appreciate you providing me with your email address, this will allow the club to email newsletters and greatly reduce our expenditure on stationary and stamps.
As you may be aware the West Shelter has undergone some recent renovations. We must extend our thans to all those involved in the work, especially Alex Cameron who went above and beyond the call of duty to complete the installation of the fire and chimney.
When using the facilities at the West Shelter I would encourage all members to leave the shelter in a suitable condition for others using the facilities.
